Starting as a hobby, I've been working professionally with Linux since 1997 shortly after I had become interested in the software internals of what makes a computer run. My early years were getting the hang of security and how to get around it. Eventually I became more interested in making things work rather than making them break, but the thinking processes I absorbed from my learn-to-hack years is something I kept and still maintain. Sometimes the easiest way to see how to make something robust and stable is to be able to conceptualize about how it can possibly break.
These days most of my interest is on developing tools that improve the logical workflow when working with AWS and other cloud-based systems infrastructure.
Specialties: Infrastructure as Code, AWS automation via Python (boto), Linux automation, systems' infrastructure design, innovative and customized linux-based solutions in Python, C, Perl, Expect / TCL and Bash script.
