Project Engineer, Bevcan Europe & Middle East @ From September 2015 to Present (2 months) Mechanical Design Engineer, Crown Technology @ Working as a Mechanical design Engineer for Multinational Company Crown Packaging is both challenging and demanding. Crown Packaging are market leaders and are the largest producer of metal packaging in the food industry and the 3rd largest producer of beverage cans. I have responsibilities for both global plant manufacturing support and implementing the latest metal packaging technology and developments to Crown Plants around the world.
Projects I help carry out often have million dollar budgets and are aimed at material saving, process improvement and new packaging innovations. I have gained key problem solving skills through detailed design. From July 2011 to September 2015 (4 years 3 months) Wantage Oxfordshire (UK)Undergraduate Mechanical Engineer @ Based at the Andrex paper mill in Kent (UK) I gained valuable experience as a student. At Kimberly-Clark I worked in a team of Mechanical Asset Engineers, this is the team of Engineers that design and maintain the paper converting and packaging machines for the Andrex range.
One project I worked on was reducing the overall tissue roll diameter by reducing the core size. I had to plan and investigate how the machines needed to be adapted and modified for this change. I enjoyed learning and getting to understand the tissue conversion process. From June 2010 to September 2010 (4 months) Kent (UK)Student Manufacturing Engineer @ Electrex World is an electrical engineering company that manufacture electrical components for Motorbikes. While at Electrex World I was involved with the manufacture of many different components such as regulator rectifiers and stators. I worked in all the different parts of the manufacturing processes from the design stage to packaging; this helped me gain an insight and experience into how Engineering companies are run. I was taught how to operate and program large machinery like laths, milling and CNC machines. From May 2009 to September 2009 (5 months) Stoke Row (UK)
