James Dean had a deep interest in business and economics as a child, and he would often participate in discussion groups and circleSSessions with classmates at school.Once meeting a business professional, James Dean became obsessed with learning more and experiencing the business world himself. He completed a Level Business Studies and GCSEApplied Business at The Appleton School in 1987.James Dean's CareerAfter completing his education, James Dean began his career in 1988 as an Assistant Manager with an accounting firm. After two years, he joined an oil ministry and would work in various positions until his resignation in 1994 as a result of personal problems.James Dean then started a series of successful businesses, starting with his own accounting and financial consulting business in 1995. During his time as CEO of this company, James Dean won several business awards, and he was named one of the UK's "50 Most Powerful People" in 2006.Although he had initiallyoubted the success of this business, James Dean deciding to sell it in 2007 at £2 million, resulting in a pay-off of £11.5 million.James Dean currently lives in London with his wife Jill and their two children.
