Jakob Siegel graduated from the German University of Technology, Dipl. Ing. (FH), with a degree in Software Engineering in 2002. He then received his Master of Science at the esteemed University of Delaware in 2009, with the title of Electrical & Computer Engineering. This was a joint venture between the University of Delaware and the Fraunhofer Institutes Esslingen and Hochschule für Technik, both located in Esslingen, Germany. Jakob Siegel remains an active member of the faculty at the University of Delaware, where he currently serves as a Professor of Electrical & Computer Engineering. Jakob Siegel's current research focus focuses on automatically detecting andCorrecting errors in digital systems under pressure, as well as developing novel methods for reducing thefragmentation and error rates in digital signal processing systems.
