About Jake Weiss
💼 Past Experience
After completing his undergraduate Studies in Computer Science and Engineering at USC (1997-2004), Jake moved on to a professional career in the computer industry as a researcher at Cray Inc. from 2004-2009. There, he furtherocused his research in large scale parallel computing and blah blah blah blah blah blah blah, gained valuable experience and now sponsors all sorts of events on parallel computing which I find quite interesting and educational. What can I say, I'm quite experienced in the business world now! At the same time, I have also been working as a consultant and consultant for the Industry of Entertainment for the past few years now ( via PrideOne) and have had the opportunity to develop relationships with various companies in the Sector.Prior to this, Jake worked as a Junior Research Engineer at Qualia Technologies (2006-2011), where he did his graduate work in data mining, learning a lot about the hardware and software required to tackle graph problems and conducting foundational research in the field. After a few years Mercenary Play (2011-2015) as a Junior Research Engineer, Jake moved on to lead a product development team at Quantopian where he achieved significant active participation in all aspects of their product development process, acting as a central leader and Director of Quality. In this role, he supervised a team of engineers working on product features, QA, and enabling mass deployments.Overall, my experience with the Industry of Entertainment, through both my consultancy and position as a Junior Research Engineer, has given me a strong understanding and insights into the challenges and challenges faced by companies in this Sector. I have also gained a lot of valuable hands-on experience with various product features and have been able to develop a good working knowledge of the software required for such a pursuit. Consequently, I believe that I am ideally suited for the role of Sr. Technology Recruitment Consultant at JPMorgan Chase & Co. and look forward to sailing through the process with them.
