Interested to explore new avenues in anticancer therapeutics, translational analysis of therapeutic intervention, redefining therapeutic regimens and modalities. Currently, developing an in vitro assay platform based on co-cultured (cancer cells and fibroblasts) 3D tumor spheroids on cross-linked Chitosan-Alginate scaffold for screening anticancer therapeutics. I am looking forward to develop, build and manage R&D laboratories in metro Boston,

Currently, developing an in vitro assay platform based on co-cultured (cancer cells and fibroblasts) 3D tumor spheroids on cross-linked Chitosan-Alginate scaffold for screening anticancer therapeutics. I am looking forward to develop, build and manage R&D laboratories in metro Boston, MA area and open for collaborations with organizations, innovative scientists and investors. http://www.paliakkaracorporation.com/
I have designed and developed a laboratory for protein purification and characterization at Olympus Biotech, Grafton site (Tufts Veterinary Campus, Grafton, MA) equipped with Waters Xevo G2S Mass Spectrometer and UPLC (LC-MS), Alliance HPLC Systems, Electrophoresis and Western blot, FACS, facilities for Cell Based Assays to test investigational compounds and inhibitors including ELISA and BIAcore. I have extensive experience in production, purification and characterization of recombinant therapeutic fusion proteins and monoclonal antibodies as per cGMP requirements (eg. therapeutic fusion proteins, Abatacept – ‘Orencia™’ and Belatacept –‘Nulojix™’ and monoclonal antibody, Ipilimumab – ‘Yervoy™’). Adopted new approaches to design anticancer therapeutics for effective delivery to solid tumors and successfully incorporated to the preclinical business model to enhance the efficacy of current drug candidates of Arisaph Pharmaceuticals, Boston, MA.
Completed several management courses in clinical sciences (GCP) from Barnett Educational Services through CHI, Pfizer-Tufts Clinical and Translational Science Institute and Duke Translational Medicine Institute-Boston University Center for Future Technologies in Cancer Care.
