I am an experienced IT infrastructure manager with a proven track record in developing and maintaining complex production and non-production environments, to meet the needs of a rapidly changing business. My background in Server infrastructure, where I have developed skills and experience across a number of technologies; however, more recently managed multiple teams across different geographies. In a management role, I focus on getting the right outcomes for customers, by managing IT infrastructure to ensure maximum uptime.
I am experienced in the full lifecycle of systems implementation to support business objectives; from planning and designing the infrastructure for new services to project and service delivery.
Ultimately, I have spent the last five years managing a team of engineers across a variety of technologies, and directly responsible for data centre environments, including; storage, virtualisation, operating systems, event monitoring, backup and recovery services.
I recognize that the IT landscape is changing, where cloud technologies are becoming standard practice and businesses want to change quickly whilst keeping costs low. IT infrastructure and the data centre environment are at the heart of this and now looking to help develop an organisation where this is recognised.
