Currently focussed on full stack JavaScript development, in particular hybrid mobile web apps.
I can confidently develop and maintain both LAMP (Linux; Apache; MySQL; PHP) and MEAN (MongoDB; ExpressJS; AngularJS; Node.js) full stack web solutions.
Additional programming languages, applications, and technologies I use regularly include HTML5, CSS3 & JavaScript; Ionic; jQuery; Bootstrap; Sass; Grunt; Bower; npm; Git; HubFlow; Analytics; and WordPress.
I am focused on providing consistent, quality code. I am a stickler for semantic markup, accessibility, usability, performance, coding conventions, and finding simple, yet elegant, solutions to problems.
I have a very opinionated coding style. I hate comments and am an advocate of self-documenting code, whenever possible.
Nobody wants to hear about how I like playing guitar or watching movies in my spare time. So, instead, here’s a few interesting facts about me:
• I didn’t drink my first cup of tea until the ripe age of 28.
• I have more tattoos than I – or anybody else that has tried – can count.
• My first computer was a 1995 Power Macintosh 6200 / 6300 and I have only owned Macs since.
• I have never used Vi or Emacs.
