My name is Jaclyn Merk and I am a graduate of Tyler School of Art, Temple University in Philadelphia. I am a print and interactive designer who has a strong affinity for beautiful typography, bright colors, and patternmaking. People know me as a hardworking, hyper-organized, spirited creative.
One of the things I love most about being a designer is the opportunity to immerse myself in a wide variety of subject matter. I always take great enjoyment in the research stage of a project where it’s exciting to really dive in to come up with a unique solution.
I am currently the Marketing Design Fellow at Chronicle Books in San Francisco. As a student, I interned at Urban Outfitters headquarters in Philadelphia (one of my favorite brands!) and Two Paper Dolls in Wayne, PA (they do lovely letterpress work!)
I am a lover of all things fashion. In my spare time, you will find me reading the latest issue of Vogue or perusing my favorite fashion blogs–preferably on the beach.
