WORK EXPERIENCE:EK FOOD SERVICES INC.Industry of RestaurantsIori Hanai has been with EK FOOD SERVICES INC. since 1997, when she started as a Cashier. After five years, she became a Manager in 2002, and then a Marketing Manager in 2007. In her position, she was responsible for all aspects of the restaurant’s marketing, from developing and executing marketing plans to managing cuisine and sales. She also developed and coordinated the restaurant’s inside and outside promotional activities, oversaw the company’s European and Japanese expansion, and oversaw the company’s growth in the U.S.Iori Hanai was also responsible for developing and coordinating the company’s Pacific Rim expansion, which included opening eleven restaurants in Japan, eight in China, and five in Korea.In her work at EK FOOD SERVICES INC., she was also responsible for a number of important initiatives, including the company’s social media campaigns, which pushed the restaurant’s boundaries by reaching out to a wider audience. Iori Hanai has a Certificate IV in Commercial Cookery from TAFE NSW- Sydney Institute in 1995. She also has a printing from 名古屋芸術大学 from 1990 to 1992. Hanai's first job was as a Cook in a Japanese restaurant from October 1995 to January 1997. She then went on to work as a dishwasher at an Australian brewery from December 1997 to May 2001. From May 2001 to present, Hanai has been working as a kitchen assistant at a family run restaurant in Camden town, Sydney.
