Head of Software, CTO @ Head of Software and co-founder at Deontics Ltd, a spinout company from University of Oxford and UCL. The company produces technology in the field of advanced decision support and services in patient care. From January 2012 to Present (4 years) Senior Medical Software developer @ Working as a lead developer of a logic & work-flow engine and the suite of supporting tools for authoring content and delivering it to end users, via a web based Java platform. During this period I also developed a particular specialisation of the system that provides recommendations for chemotherapy treatment to patients with colon cancer using published evidence. It utilises statistical models and argumentation and is focused on communicating the gist knowledge to non experts.

From January 2007 to December 2010 (4 years) London, United KingdomSenior Medical Software developer @ Role the same as the one in University of Oxford and in the same inference and workflow platform. During this period I developed a particular application that provides a risk/benefit analysis for cerebral aneurysms using evidence from existing literature combined with statistical based risk from a data warehouse build with patient cases (www.aneurist.org). During this period I also had significant involvement in an application that provides decision support system for patients with breast cancer. From January 2006 to December 2006 (1 year) Project Manager @ Modelling, design and management for a system combining space telemetry technology developed by European Space Agency utilising controllers and sensors build by HTR. The system is used for remote monitoring (sensors, security panels, cameras etc) and controlling (switches, motors, robots) ground sites using a combination of the space telemetry system SCOS 2000 and the control system NEMO. From July 2005 to December 2005 (6 months) Software Engineer @ I worked as a C++ software engineer to develop a physics simulator that is used to produce a virtual, in-orbit environment, Environment & Dynamics Simulator (EDS). This is a component of the Advanced Robotics Ground Control Station (A-DREAMS) and is used for programming, testing and validating robotics programs before deployment in space, the International Space Station at the time of the development.
My role was to design and implement the collision detection module, the virtual force feedback module, the communications module (UDP, TCP), the OpenGL visualisation and the robot description file formats & parsers. I also had the role of the integrator, mostly designing module interfaces. From January 2004 to June 2005 (1 year 6 months) Freelancing developer/consultant @ I provided my services as a freelancing developer in mainly two companies. An internet services provider dealing with satellite based internet (it was a trend at that time) and web hosting provider mostly providing web applications (e-shops, booking systems, etc) and server administration. A news photographic agency where I developed a system for internet based collection, storage and distribution of images. The server part has been build using PHP and the clients using C#. From 2002 to 2003 (1 year) Web Developer / System Administrator @ I was the system administrator and lead web developer on a small company that was providing internet hosting and satellite based internet. I was primarily using the LAMP stack, but also quite keen user of PERL and in cases C. During that time I have developed numerous web applications From 1999 to 2001 (2 years)
