From October 2011 to Present (4 years 3 months) Operations Director @ One of three national core operations directors for Punch Partnerships, the UK’s 2nd-largest leased and tenanted pub company with c. 6,000 pubs. Responsible for 1,600 partners, team of 60, 8 direct reports. Turnover of £250M, delivering £120M profit (1/3rd of total company). In my 5 years at Punch, I was consistently the #1 performing operations director (started with 16 peers, ending with 3) as measured by most KPIs including the delivery of L4L operating profit. I did this having to rebuild my team almost annually against a background of a struggling industry and frequent internal restructuring and downsizing. I also spearheaded strategic and national business improvement initiatives in addition to my day-to-day operational remit.
