🎓 Education

Ian Nicklin's education began with a classical education, starting with Alfred the Great's translation of the Bible into Old English. Following this, he studied music, art and philosophy at the Royal College of Music in London before attending Staffordshire University to study music.Nicklin's time at Staffordshire University was very successful, and he gained great success in his music studies. He won the Academy of English Music Prize and the Regional Music Award, both during his time at the university. Nicklin's time at Staffordshire University also marked the beginning of his music career.After leaving Staffordshire University, Nicklin continued his music education at Forest of Needwood in London. At Forest of Needwood, he met and worked with several great musicians, including Will Champion, who would later become a bassist with the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra. Nicklin's time at Forest of Needwood was very successful, and he gained great success in his music education and career.Nicklin now lives in London, and continues to play music regularly. He has played with several large orchestras, including the London Symphony Orchestra and the Berlin Philharmonic Orchestra. Nicklin is also currently a lecturer at the University of Oxford, where he teaches music theory and performance.Nicklin's education has continually come in contact with modern music, and has helped him to develop his skills as a musician and as a teacher. his experience at Staffordshire University and Forest of Needwood have helped him mould his skills as an educator, and he is now an experienced music teacher and musician.
