🎓 Education

From September 2022 to September 2022, Ian Dorian studied at the Maryland Institute College of Art where he received his MFA in Interdisciplinary Art. This course focused on the concepts of Drawing, Sculpture, and Painting. In his spare time, Ian also enjoyed painting, sculpting, and playing music. He is excited about his future as an artist and is eager to learn more about how to create beautiful and meaningful works.

So Ian Dorian is a Story Artist and has worked at Warner Bros. Animation and Valiant Entertainment. He is also currently a Freelance Artist at Whamix, and freelance consumer products at Marvel Entertainment. In his work experience, Ian Dorian has designed consumer products and Illustration. In total, he has worked with Marvel Entertainment for six years. He started working with them in September 2013, and was eventually given the title of Executive Creative Director. In August 2018, he left Marvel Entertainment, to take up a job at Advanced Ideas & Mechanics, LLC. There, he was in charge of all creative aspects of the company, as well as developing new ideas and mechanics. Due to his experience working at Marvel Entertainment and his degree in Creative Design from Cornell University, he was able to take over this role with great success. In his work there, he will be working with the character designer at the company, who will be in charge of all the character designs for the company's animated and live-action productions.In total, Ian Dorian has worked with a number of different companies, and has a vast amount of experience in creative design, illustration, and storytelling.
