He has also been working on developing new strategies to prevent and control heart disease for the past 4 months as Chief Resident in Instructor of Medicine.Prevention and disease control is an important part of Gada’s work. He wants his patients to live a long and healthy life and these strategies will help to achieve this goal. Gada is excited to start teaching the patients at the Diabetes Control and Prevention Clinics that he provides and to continue developing new strategies to prevent and control heart disease.

In this position, Hemal Gada was responsible for developing and implementing business plans and protocols for academic programs on the Michigan campus.
