Heather Young's education began in 1986 when she received her B.S. in Finance from the University of Maryland College Park. After graduation, Heather worked as a certified financial planner with a Wilshire Street Corporate banking firm. It was there that she learned the important skills of personal financial planning and financial counseling.In 1992 Heather moved to Indianapolis, Indiana and began her post-graduate career as an assistant manager for a Davenport Street startup which she later became the company's president and CEO. She also started her own business, which she ran until its liquidation in 2006.Heather Young is currently a senior financial advisor at Mellon Financial Services in Indianapolis. As a senior financial advisor, she provides quality financial planning and counseling to her clients through her unique experience and knowledge.
