Teams reporting into me included software development, database design, database operations and quality assurance. Also responsible for oversight of offshore-based software development, business process and QA teams. During my tenure, the database development team consistently met its aggressive new product release targets. Revenue for the product line grew by 400%. My team was also responsible for the ongoing maintenance and updating of more than 150 database products used worldwide. In 2004, EBSCO's site was ranked in the 20 most-used web sites in Neilsen's Netratings. I also worked closely with Sales, Product Management and Business Development teams to establish long- and short-term strategic plans for current and new database products.
