Through all of this I have seen the impact of what bad leadership and good leadership can do for an organization. I have been blessed to be surrounded by great people, which has led to a large amount of success not only for me, but for the leaders around me.

Territory Sales Manager @ I am in charge of growing sales in the North Texas area with Colonial Life. I make sure we are building relationships with brokers, potential sales managers and sales professionals to ensure steady sales growth. From June 2013 to Present (2 years 7 months) Dallas/Fort Worth AreaTerritory Sales Manager @ I was in charge of growing sales in the North Florida and South Georgia area with Colonial Life. I was able to find great leaders across the territory and more than double sales within two and a half years. This territory was ranked 41st in 2010 out of 42 territories. By the end of 2012 we ended up # 3 in the entire country and I attended Leaders Conference both years I was there. I was recently promoted to Territory Sales Manager of North Texas, one of the largest markets in the country with Colonial Life. From December 2010 to June 2013 (2 years 7 months) District General Agent @ I provided leadership in the development of a scratch district with Colonial Life. I was responsible for building sales managers and assisting them with building successful sales teams. I coordinated sales training, recruiting and enrollment teams. I was responsible for the actions of my whole sales organization. In my first year with Colonial Life I was the small DGA of the year and attended Presidents and Leaders Conference. From May 2009 to December 2010 (1 year 8 months) President @ I built Oakes Insurance Agency based around recruiting and developing sales reps. We sold Health, Life, Medicare Supplements, Accident, Cancer, and Annuities Insurance to help protect families in the East Texas area. In my first year I built a 1.1 Million dollar book of business. From February 2008 to July 2009 (1 year 6 months) Tyler, Texas AreaSales Rep @ I was responsible for cold calling senior citizens to set appointments to pitch my products. I sold Medicare supplements, Long Term Care, Annuities, and Life Insurance. I developed new strategies of my own to get in front of decision makers to sell my products. The 3rd month I was with Bankers Life and Casualty I was the number 1 agent in the country. I was number 1 with 44,474 APC, while number 2 was at 26,907 APC. From November 2007 to March 2008 (5 months)
