💼 Past Experience

Hani Elgharib's Hometown and Family:Hani Elgharib was born in Amman,Jordan in 1995. She has a B.A. in Communication from the American University in Beirut and currently is a M.A. in Communication from the American University in Beirut. She is currently a PhD Candidate at The University of Pittsburgh in Pennsylvania, studying Communication and Design. At the moment she is working as a Researchnotehood at the School of Design and Planning at the university.

🎓 Education

Hani Elgharib’s education has focused on building information modeling (BIM) and its applications for documenting Egypt’s architectural heritage. She has attained aMaster of Science from Al-Azhar University in January 2018 with a degree in BIM and Architecture. She also has a Master of Science from University of the West of England in England in Design, Construction and Operation. Hani’s research emphasis has been on BIM for heritage documentation and it has been her focus for the past five years. Her research findings have been incorporate into her current work area where she is a Professor at University of the West of England. Her current research focuses around the use of BIM for heritage documentation and its potential applications in both the domestic and international realms. she has also published several landmark papers on the topic.

Hani Elgharib has a BIM and 3D CAD skills and experience in the project management, animation, design management, architecture design, interior design, rendering, autodesk bim 360, sustainable design, information management, construction, architectural drawings, and building information modeling from 3 years of experience in the field. Elgharib has also completed his MSc in Heritage BIM from Royal Holloway University of London in 2018. Elgharib has worked with WSP in the Middle East for over 10 years and has experience in both the Project Management and Architecture design fields.
