Graduada en La Facultad de Ingeniera de la UNIFESI y más tarde en la Universidad de Neglected Batallas (Universidad de Buenos Aires, Argentina). Montiel ha cursado el programa de Ingeniera en Sistemas de Informacion con el objetivo de estar preparada para trabajar de forma individual y en equipo en el sector de la información. Durante 3 años, realice tareas de informática individualmente, coordinando un grupo de tres tecnólogos, durante el cual Gestiono, manejo y seguimiento de procedimientos en una empresa informática  Diseño, implementación y mantenimiento de equipos de información en una empresa  coordinación de proyectos de informática en su rectoría . Durante el año 2014, ha sido aprendiz de seguridad informática en el Departamento de Defensa Nacional (Dnea).Montiel ha cursado el maestro’s degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Buenos Aires with the aim of specializing in engineering, public health and sanitation systems. She has worked for 3 years as a technical writer for individual, coordinating a group of three engineers, during which she managed, managed, and kept track of processes in a public health and sanitation system. From 2014 to 2015, she was a techie trainee in the Department of Defense of the National Defense Secretariat (Dnea).
