During my career, I've designed and developed software products for a variety of clients including: Intel, Johnson & Johnson, Microsoft, HP, Virgin Records, and many more. Most recently I built up a fantastic product design team for a large education non-profit.
My focus and passion is around designing products and experiences that truly impact our society at large and individuals within it. This spring I wrote a white paper for O'Reilly publishers on the topic of Designing for Social Impact and have been speaking regularly about how we can all engage in such projects.
Some examples of products I've designed:
- GreatSchools: web properties that reach over half of America's Families each year: (http://greatschools.org and http://greatkids.org)
- Optimedica's Catalys: precise, efficient, accurate eye surgery suite (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CCULyqwbYwU)
- Pasco SparkVue: educational software that helps K-12 students gain deeper understanding of science. (http://www.pasco.com/family/sparkvue/)
