From July 2014 to September 2015 (1 year 3 months) Houston, Texas AreaSr. Director Finance - Global Transactional Processing @ IHS Responsible for the ongoing operation and standardization of the global Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Credit Card and Americas Payroll teams’. Consolidated over 60 acquisitions and 140 legal entities to one of three global shared service centers supported by a newly implemented SAP platform. Focused on legacy process evaluation, colleague communication, in depth training and clear documentation to ensure seamless integration. Worked with team leaders and business owners to develop and document consistent global processes and procedures. From 2011 to 2014 (3 years) Greater Denver AreaDirector Finance - Centex Merger Integration @ PulteGroup Finance lead for the Centex and Pulte Homes merger, operationally consolidating the combined organization to one shared service center. Responsible for alignment of business process, team communication and colleague transition across all newly combined divisions and the corporate leadership team. Designed a repeatable, flexible and recordable process to ensure limited business impact during the acquisition integration. From January 2010 to March 2011 (1 year 3 months) NationalDirector Finance - Shared Service Center Development @ PulteGroup Co-led the design, development and implementation of PulteGroup’s National Shared Service Center ("SSC"). The SSC was established to consolidate all A/P, A/R, House Close, Month End Close, Purchasing, Insurance and General Ledger activity. Evaluated over 135 pre-implementation processes, standardized and documented uniform best practices, trained business leaders in future state process and managed the transition of 49 Divisions to the SSC. From May 2008 to December 2009 (1 year 8 months) Bloomfield Hills, MIVice President Finance - Houston Division @ PulteGroup Led the Accounting and Finance functions for a $200MM revenue generating division of a national homebuilding organization. Responsible for all accounting, financial planning and analysis, asset and risk management, overhead expenditure and litigation across 6 departments and 29 communities. Supported a high energy, fun team environment for 12 direct and 130 division team members contributing to an industry leading 5 consecutive JD Power “Highest in Customer Satisfaction” awards. Focused on supporting operational leaders within Sales, Land, Construction/Manufacturing, Warranty and Purchasing to analyze and develop key measurable goals and best practice process to maximize usage of division resources. Partnered in the land acquisition process on all aspects of due diligence, deal structure and proforma developement and evaluation.
