A wonderful side effect of the Internet revolution is that the world now has more data than it knows what to do with. How does marketing change when consumers are already publicly rating and talking about their favorites all over the web? How do medicine and bioinformatics change when the cost of sequencing a genome drops from the millions to the thousands? How does financial analysis change when you can use a program, instead of a human, to read and extract meaning from a report?
I'm motivated by insight. I combine the programming expertise to generate, work with, and share large datasets with the statistics and machine learning skills to turn it into meaningful conclusions. If you're looking for help turning information into understanding and action, I encourage you to reach out to me.
