An avid gamer and tech enthusiast, I committed to Stanford to study in Silicon Valley. I followed in the footsteps of Steve Jobs and Bill Gates... by dropping out of the computer science department.
I wound up studying product design and communication, with an emphasis on HCI. From mobile interface engineering to project management and data analysis on Reddit trends, eCommerce site design research, and MMORPG psychology, my focus expanded from UI design to human-centered design.
After almost three years of managing software development for UX research and designing research projects for other people, I finally conducted my own research. The subject? Farmville. At the time, social gaming went viral. Farmville reached a million users in four days. I didn't understand it. How does a flash game make enough money to support that kind of infrastructure?
My work covered the theories of analytics and design used by companies to optimize mobisocial products for data-driven results. My background in creating roadmaps, leading (mobile) product teams, and deriving insights from analytics to optimize user acquisition, experience, and monetization has led me to become a seasoned product manager, with a portfolio of nearly a dozen top grossing apps and delightful mobile products on iOS and Android.
