E.I.T @ July 2011 - May 2013 In July 2011, my employment at Vale Canada Ltd. Thompson Mine commenced as Mine Planner EIT providing production planning services to assist in the safe and efficient extraction of ore. As a production planner my duties included but were not limited to: • Designing stopes using Vulcan mine design software • Designing production ITH drill hole layouts (pattern) • Designing development for accessing the ore body • Production blast design including issuing blast letters, clearing and guarding notifications and holding pre-blast meetings. • Ensuring that backfill of stopes is planned and issued • Ensuring that ventilation systems are designed and issued for installation in my area • Ensuring power and drainage systems are designed for my area • Conducting an economic assessment of the stopes • Knowing and complying with safety policies and procedures. May 2013 - April 2015 During this period as an EIT at Vale Canada Ltd, I was moved to the Rock Mechanics team, which services all three underground mines and the open pit. April 2015 - Present Rock Mechanics Specialist at Vale Canada From July 2011 to Present (4 years 3 months) Thompson
