Ghyrn Loveness is a technologist and entrepreneur based in Palo Alto, California. He studied energy systems, mechanical engineering and physics at Stanford, Caltech and Pomona. Ghyrn has worked at AeroVironment and NASA and served as the President of Caltech's Entrepreneurs Club. He helped start Duron Energy to provide affordable access to energy for people in rural communities living without reliable access to electricity and currently serves on its technical advisory board. Most recently he is on the founding team of employees at Amprius and early team at Quantumscape - both next generation energy storage materials companies. He has mentored numerous energy/software startups and classes at the Stanford Graduate School of Business. Ghyrn’s interests include energy technology, startups, investing, sustainable development, biomedical devices, and aerospace systems. He enjoys skiing, tennis, cooking, and classical piano. He is also an avid pilot with multiple ratings and endorsements.
