Gavin Carter is an energetic, dynamic and experienced executive with a strong track record of transforming under-performing businesses by conceiving and executing a strategic plan. He is a technologist who leverages the latest technology to enable and accelerate transformation. Gavin has worked for multinational corporations as well as private equity and been involved in multiple successful acquisitions and disposals. Most recently, Gavin led JOC Group Inc. under private equity ownership, where he successfully executed a plan to turn the content and data publisher into a highly desirable subscription information platform. JOC Group was sold to IHS Inc (NYSE:IHS). in December 2014, generating a 5x return on the starting value in 24 months. Gavin is a dedicated, passionate leader who believes in organisational structures and who creates highly motivated teams by providing a clear vision and strategy and an environment which supports autonomy. Gavin began his career at UBM plc’s London headquarters. Gavin attended Oxford Brookes University where he studied Software Engineering. Gavin is a UK citizen and a holder of a US Green Card.
