This requires the greatest eye for detail and tenacity to identify and halt money-laundering offences, both nationally and internationally. This role needs a depth of ability in investigation and specialist knowledge of computer and network intrusions coupled with a sound knowledge of online trade in financial, corporate and personal data. Roles • Investigation of all Cyber and cyber-enabled crime, facilitated by the use and control of malicious software (malware). • Investigation of Cyber crime and cyber-enabled crime, facilitated by the use of online phishing techniques, involving protracted money laundering and complex investigations nationally and on an international level. • Investigation and specialist knowledge of Computer and network intrusions (with various motives and objectives) including Denial of service attacks and website defacement (with various motives and objectives). • Sound knowledge in relation to the online trade in financial, personal and other data obtained through cyber crime or cyber- enabled crime including the intentional and dishonest online provision of services, tools etc. to facilitate cyber crime or cyber-enabled crime. • Working closely with a specialist team of Forensic examiners, analysts and financial investigators to gather and review evidence. • Coordination of the assessment of Suspicious Activity Reports (SAR’s), investigated unusual transactions and liaised with banks to prevent money laundering. • Analysis of POCA Production Orders and the research of open source material and the interrogation of financial transactions to trace and confiscate criminal assets. From October 2014 to Present (1 year 3 months) Metropolitan police - Detective Sergeant @ Successful Promotion to Senior investigation officer having passed the National legal exam and intense interview process. This work demanded the very highest standards of evidence gathering to support investigations and to secure compliance with all legal requirements to obtain subsequent convictions for the guilty. This role gave me valuable experience in securing evidence from around the world and working with national and international regulatory and investigative authorities. I assisted in the further prevention of abuse working with partner agencies supplying aftercare to victims such as counselling or psychiatric assistance. I regularly held multi agency meetings including local schools to Promote awareness of abuse. Other roles of this specialist post included; • Helping victims rebuild lives. • Monitoring known abusers. • Investigation of child homicide and complex abuse enquiries within a family environment. • Preparation of complex case files for prosecuting authorities. • Attended court routinely to give evidence as senior investigator of a case. • Regularly attend case conferences with other partner agencies. • Monitored and managed media by drafting releases, providing interviews and utilising contacts for press appeals. • Subject Matter Expert in Human Trafficking for Sexual Exploitation and assaults linked to Spiritual beliefs involving , influencing policy through best practice, advisory role training law enforcement agencies and third sector partners and building productive cross sector relationships. From January 2011 to October 2014 (3 years 10 months) Intelligence Officer/ communications Investigator @ I was selected for this specialist unit after having passed the Telecommunications investigators course. This sensitive and challenging role involves the investigation and strategic management of resources, often under considerable time and budget pressure. I was tasked to support a wide range of investigations into serious and complex crimes utilising Communications data requested from Communications service providers (CSP’s). This work demanded the very highest standards so the right data was obtained to support investigations and to secure compliance with all legal requirements. The role included working with the Home Office and Other law enforcement agencies to improve working practices. I was responsible for implementing a point of contact for a newly identified foreign CSP which is now routinely used in life at risk/threat to life enquiries throughout law enforcement across the UK. From January 2009 to January 2011 (2 years 1 month) Police Officer - Territorial Support Group @ My role as a TSG officer involved three main tasks in the policing of the Metropolitan Police District. • Securing the capital against terrorism. • Responding to disorder anywhere within London. • Reducing priority crime through local borough support conducting surveillance Operations to achieve the goal.
