He began his career at Sawyer Media as an account executive from 2001 to 2002. From there, he moved to Talarian Corporation, where he lead e-commerce business development and managed the largest partners in the industry. Garth next worked at Open Environment Corporation from 1992 to1996. From here, he purchased the company from Borland and proceeded to become the President and Co-Founder at OtherScreen. There, he built a platform for building companion content communities, which joined your experience watching television to what you are doing on your web browser/smartphone. Garth then took over as the Sr. Director of Community at Salesforce.com from May 2010 to May 2011. In this role, he was responsible forchairing a number of business development related functions, including speaking at sales, community and marketing events. He then moved on to Digital Impact, where he New business sales to major accounts in the Bay Area. He also held a position at Personify from November 1999 to February 2001, covering major accounts in the Bay Area. Garthwent to Cambridge Technology Partners in 2007 as the SVP of Business Development. At Cambridge Information Network, Garth was responsible for all revenue generated through partnerships and advertising. He also had a role in driving revenue for Quaero through partners, working closely with Marketing and Sales to help foster the Quaero brand with analysts, press, customers, and partners. Garth later joined ScanBizCards as the VP of Community and Co-Founding Member, and held this role for six years. He left that company in March 2014 to take over as the Senior Vice President of Business Development at Cambridge Technology Partners. In his new position, Garth is responsible for rapidly growing the user base of their app and driving revenue through partnerships with other popular Apps and enterprises that can leverage the sales data created in the process.
