From January 1992 to January 1996, Bharadwaj was a permanent carried out Research Fellow at the Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad.Bharadwaj is currently the Chairman, Digital India where he is responsible for all the aspects of the government's digital initiatives. He has a wealth of experience in all aspects of digital initiatives, from technical to policy. Bharadwaj has been with the Department of Telecom and Information Technology (DoT) since 1998 and has held posts in the Department of Electronics and Information Technology (DeIT), Ministry of Finance.
