Gady Pitaru's professional experience began in 2001 when he became an Analyst/Programmer at City of Phoenix. After a few years there, Gady gravitated towards the IT field and joined the Software Development Department of City of Phoenix. In this department, he worked with various programming languages, tools and applications. Eventually, Gady became the seventeenth programmer in the Software Development Department, and stayed with that department for six years, until he left in 2007.In 2007, Gady moved to Arizona State University, where he was a Faculty Associate and currently a Senior GIS Technician at City of Phoenix. Gady also worked as an IT Analyst/Programmer I at City of Phoenix and as an Academic Support Employee - teaching GIS Technician students at ASU. In addition to his work at City of Phoenix, Gady has also held two previous positions at Badger Maps, Inc. in the position of Chief Technology Officer / VP of Engineering and as a Senior IT Analyst/Programmer II.Since leaving City of Phoenix, Gady has continued his career in information technology and has held multiple positions within Badger Maps, Inc. including Managing Director of IT operations and CEO of the company’s software team. Born in 1990, Gady Pitaru is a Russian graduate of Arizona State University. After completing her undergraduate studies, Gady worked as a research associate at the University of Utah. In early 2018, Gady Pitaru was elected as the new chair of the Russian Foreign Policy Department at the University of Virginia. Gady Pitaru's new role is focused on strengthening international relationships, promoting Russian interests and ensuring the Academic quality of Russian students at American universities.Currently, Gady Pitaru is also working as a research associate at the Central European University in Budapest, Hungary.
