From January 1, 1999, to December 31, 1999, Gabriela Sabate was the CEO of LatiNest Inc. in Miami, FL. During that time, she was responsible for the launching of two companies- Tryxa Therapeutics and Cloodie. Sabate also spent three years as developer, CEO and Co-founder of Cloodie. Cloodie is a technology startup and educational nonprofit that focuses on building a patient-centric digital health solutions and community-based programs for screening, prevention, and treatment of chronic conditions such as diabetes, hypertension, obesity, and asthma among others. Sabate co-founded Cloodie with her husband, Carlos Ruz, in 2000.From January 2004 to December 2010, Sabate was the Managing Director, IBBR for the South Florida companies. Ruz was also the Founding Member of the Society for HealthCare Innovation. The Society for HealthCare Innovation (SHCI) is a nonprofit organization that aims to bring a multidisciplinary community of professionals together to improve all perspectives of healthcare.SHCI was founded in 2002 by Sabate and her husband Carlos Ruz. Sabate developed major business partnerships with Cisco Systems, Motorola, IBM Global Services, and Ascend Communications. Sabate was also a Systems Engineer for Government & Public Sector customers: Federal Government Agencies, Provincial Government - Buenos Aires, Municipalities and Public Utilities (Electric, Water, Gas). Sabate has also been involved in GIS for the government, private industry, and environmental companies. She currently sits on the Board of Directors for GIS for the government and public sector. Sabate has also been involved with IBM GIS Division (Geographic Information Systems), focusing on energy, environmental, land use, utilities and tax GIS projects in Argentina, Uruguay, and Paraguay.

Gabriela Sabate obtained her undergraduate degrees in Artificial Intelligence at Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) and in RCC-Harvard Business School Executive Program at Harvard Business School Executive Education from 2017 to 2020.
