Fred Beringer is a computer scientist and Database architect from SKEMA Business School, in 1997 he received his degrees from Université Côte d'Azur with a Master's degree in Computer Science. Starting in 1993, Fred worked for Aurubis Corporation for 3 years. After a short hiatus in 2009, he started his own company, FredBeringer, LLC in2012. Fred Beringer is currently a professor at the University of Pennsylvania in the Department of Computer Science and is also a member of the Pennsylvania Academy of Science and Engineering. He has been present at many conferences such as ACM bristlerone, colombia congress on technology and innovation, sussex university conference on software engineering, and is currently the first recipient of the prestigious leadership award from PEAfoundation in the area of software engineering.
