From January 1989 to January 1990, he served as the Director of Nursing Services at Cedar Crest College, a Division of Mercer University.Shaffer is currently a Research Associate at the Research School of Nursing at The New School for Nursing and Healthcare, where he is responsible for conducting research in the area of Nursing Administration. He has also written a number of books in the field of Nursing Administration.Shaffer is highly prepared for his work in the administration of the education and health care systems. Shaffer has a wealth of experience in the management of nursing homes and schools of Nursing, as well as in the development of nursing programs.
