Chief Financial Officer @ From June 2015 to Present (7 months) Chief Financial Officer @ Oversee all Financial, HR, IT, Legal and Commodity aspects of this UK PE backed destination ethanol producer, with over 60 million gallons of capacity and over $200 million in annual revenue. Effectively analyze market trends in Corn and Ethanol markets and act as advisor to the risk committee while working with embedded third party advisors to implement companies risk management plan and monitor the Company’s positions to ensure compliance to plan and contracts. Facilitate monthly business review cycle, working with internal functions to ensure employees understand their role in meeting the financial targets of the business, providing them with the tools and skills to ensure they can act in a financially competent manner. In tandem with financial reporting, deliver ongoing review and performance information to assess achievements versus plan and work with CEO & other functions to provide plans to exceed or return to budgeted level as appropriate.
Hired as Chief Financial Officer, member of the senior leadership team, and member of the Board of Directors, which was tasked to establish the company and restart the facility.
Worked with State and local government agencies to identify and qualify the company for $5M in grants and incentives.
Developed and full suite of control systems to ensure appropriate controls on all business financial transactions. Including: cash management, authority to spend, internal audit, customer and supplier contracts, payroll, pensions, and insurance policies.
Lead & monitor the companies risk management strategy for feedstock, grain, co-products and ethanol that ensures effective risk management.

Developed company policies relating to the financing needs of the business. This included, capital development, debt planning, insurance coverage, and taxation strategy. From December 2013 to May 2015 (1 year 6 months) CHIEF FINANCIAL OFFICER @ Oversaw all aspects of financial management, planning, budgetary planning and consumer products management, and manufacturing company-wide. Collaborate with senior executive team in planning and executing on company expansion plans.
Ensured that all governmental interactions and oversight with Departments of Economic Development in California, Ireland, and Virginia are managed effectively. Manage lean manufacturing as it applies to accounting and finance. Led an international team involved in fast-paced, technical industries. Ensure success and openness in all interaction and management of financial service providers including banks, insurance companies and employee benefits relationships are among others. Currently involved with all 510K filings for new products with the FDA and Medicare coding of products with the DMERC.
