He then worked as a proofreader for a small company for two years. In 2012, he applied to become a teacher in the Nevada school system and was accepted into the program. Frank Scandura began his teaching career at the age of 29 and has since been teaching English as a second language to students in the Nevada school system. In his time as a teacher, he has developed a great deal of love for teaching and has found his passion in helping students learn. He has also volunteered with several local organizations, including the United Way of the Southwest Nevada and helping to lead a classroom bake sale for the local elementary school. He hopes to continue to volunteer with these organizations in the future and continue to help children learn and grow in their own individualized ways.In his spare time, Frank Scandura enjoys going on walks and spending time with his family and friends.
