Florian Serfaty has been in a number of Corporate Communications roles with French newspapers. He has most notably been in charge of Corporate Communications for four French newspapers, Jeune Afrique, Le Monde, L’Opinion and Le Figaro. He also worked aslahavioural Research Dir at IPSOS France from September 2015 to May 2018. Florian is also a Masters in Business Administration from the Paris-based University of Technology. From 2014 to 2018, he was also a Research Assistant at Vanderbilt University’s Vanderbilt Center for American Journalism Studies.

Previously, he was also responsible for area sales, helein Marketing and Outdoor Sales. He gained his experience working in the advertising and media industries, with a focus onmulti-client sales and strategic alliances.Additionally, he also has experience in newly developing markets and international events, both in Africa and broader regions, having served as the Group Sales Manager for two years at Jeune Afrique. He was also responsible for event management, including managing various marketing and advertising efforts, as well as implementing and leading the team that booked and promotional traveled to multiple events in Africa. Additionally, he led and managed a successful digital marketing initiative for the Group subsidiary Jeune Afrique Droit, which successfully scaled to new levels in two years.Outside of work, Florian is a fluent speaker of French and is also interested in marketing, digital media, events and international relations. Florian is a firm believer in the power of social media and believes that it can be a powerful tool for communication and marketing. Florian also considers himself to be a good cook, and enjoys spending time with his friends and family.
