Being a technophile, I'm interested in the future, past and present of all technology (in that order). But I also love good and simple design. I consider it the cornerstone of most projects, going way further than pure aesthetics.
I've worked in Computer Graphics and Vision applied to Medical Imaging in my research background. Most recently, I decided to embark into a role closer to end-users as an iOS developer, where I work for the best architecture, codebase and documentation. But also fight for us to achieve the best design and user experience :)
Still looking for the way to change the world.
iOS Developer @ Developer of SERVIZ iPhone App: https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/serviz/id910258133 From May 2014 to Present (1 year 6 months) Greater Los Angeles AreaResearch scholarship @ Reconstruction and visualization of myocardial architecture from volumetric Diffusion Tensor MRI data.
In this work I focused on providing multi-resolution tractographic models jointly with visualization techniques for an easier interpretation of the myocardial architecture. Further, I presented a geometric validation framework of tractographic reconstructions.
Principal tools and languages: C++, VTK, OpenGL, Qt, Matlab, Git, LaTeX.
Other relevant specialities: Multi-resolution, DT-MRI processing, DW-MRI capture, DICOM.
Scholarship granted by the Computer Science Department at Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona. Work supported by the Spanish research projects TIN2012-33116, TIN-2009-13618, and CSD2007-00018.

* Visualization basics (projection modes, object and camera transformations, etc.),
* Basic modelling and primitives,
* Multi-pass rendering techniques (e.g. reflection),
* Animation (inverse and direct cinematic),
* Shaders and illumination (basic control of shaders, eg. implementations Gouraud and Phong),
* Other shading tecniques (toon shading and bump mapping).
