Deeply interested in computers since a kid, started programming simple QBasic games and websites on the nineties. In 2007 he was introduced to Ruby and Rails and the Agile development practices and got excited about the ability of bringing web projects to life. During the following years he combined working into the development of his own projects with freelancing and providing technical mentorship for other startups. Although he spends most of the time coding, he has dedicated a significant number of hours into designing the interface and graphics of several applications. His startup experience has given him a good view of the different aspects involved on the development of an internet based business, such as the necessity of a continuous marketing effort, and the prioritization and quick change of the product features as the knowledge of the problem and the customer needs increases. On a side note, he is interested in languages, science and the skeptic movement, and posses some rusty drawing skills after a decade of fine arts lessons on the weekends.
