For over 10 years I worked as a consultant delivering some of the most complex changes in industry. Cultural change in a global bank following the global financial crisis; setting up new operations in post war Iraq; developing a global operating model for a major oil company following an oil disaster. My travels have taken me from Australia to the UK, and delivering projects across Europe, the Middle East, Africa.
My overwhelming sense was that change programmes don't work very well. They are always difficult, both for the project team and the 'stakeholders' (we call them people!) who are almost always frustrated by the process.
In today's world we need to find ways to deliver change faster and more effectively. But more importantly, change can be good - surely we can find a way to make organisational change a positive experience, while accelerating the process at the same time?
Pinipa is my attempt to answer this incredible and far reaching challenge. I hope it enables every individual, team and organisation become dynamic by nature, turning the world of work into a place people enjoy, feel inspired and create experiences they are proud to be a part of.
