CEO at BlueTalon.
BlueTalon provides best-of-breed data entitlement solutions for Hadoop. We enable companies to very precisely control who has access to what enterprise data in Hadoop.
Before joining BlueTalon, I was Executive-in-Residence (EIR) at Scale Venture Partners, a leading venture capital firm focusing on Cloud and SaaS investments, including Box, BrightRoll, DocuSign, RingCentral, Exact Target, Chef, DataSift, and other leaders of the Cloud-based economy. I have been working actively with ScaleVP to source and evaluate new investments, as well as helping numerous portfolio companies grow and scale.
Prior to ScaleVP, I was general manager for Zynga, where I ran Mafia Wars and Zynga’s other MMO games, setting records for Daily Active Users and monetization on those franchises. I also ran Zynga’s corporate-wide player retention and engagement efforts.
Before Zynga, I was an active angel investor, founded two companies, and served as CEO of three companies, all of which had successful exits (two IPO’s and one acquisition) -- Answers.com, Netcentives, and ColorVenture.
My background also includes key positions at Oracle, Intuit, and Bain & Company.
BTW, BlueTalon is HIRING! Please contact me.
