I am a Web Developer based in New York City with experience in Ruby, JavaScript, HTML/CSS, RESTful APIs and MVC architecture. My goals are to write useful and maintainable code built with end-user needs in mind and to give back to others what has been provided me through Open Source software.
I have been captivated by the idea of using software as a tool to simplify life ever since my first experiences with BASIC on a Commodore 64, LOGO and Turtle graphics. Prior to becoming a developer, I had over a decade of experience providing server/workstation support, writing documentation and training users and technicians alike.
I am eager to take everything I've learned about users' experience with technology and use it to write great software.
