From January 2003 to December 2008 (6 years) Financial Consultant @ Led successful $178 million divestiture effort of 44 warehouse properties in 28 states through a structured Sales-Leaseback arrangement. Transaction involved a complicated sub-lease structure which allowed Georgia-Pacific to monetize non-strategic assets, mitigate its financial and operational obligations and obtain desired balance sheet treatment From September 2002 to December 2002 (4 months) Director Corporate Financial Planning & Analysis @ Managed and developed staff of seven financial planning analysts for a Fortune 500 (2001 ranked 52nd) competitive energy company with operations in the Americas, Europe and Asia. Interacted regularly with Mirant's senior management team and with senior management of Mirant's business units. Notable accomplishments: • Directed financial modeling process during the evaluation of Mirant’s IPO (September 2000). Analyzed and presented to senior management various structuring alternatives.
