Solutions Manager / Sr. Consultant @ After the acquisition, PSS joined the Software division of IBM. My role continued as a Lead servicing our top IBM customers (specifically being positioned onto red/critical customer projects). Moving to a senior role within the group, I am also in charge of the on-boarding of new hires as well as some management duties. From 2012 to Present (3 years) San Francisco Bay AreaSolutions Consultant / Customer Success Lead @ PSS was an established startup providing eDiscovery and Information Lifecycle Governance software. PSS anticipated the legal holds and retention needs of large-scale enterprises and launched the Atlas Solution suite in response.
My position was within the Professional Services group - as a Solutions Consultant - a role requiring both deep technical and functional knowledge. I owned and successfully delivered projects for our Fortune 10-20 clients. Beyond implementation duties, I also performed project management duties, identified and worked sales opportunities, presented at industry events, and led overall customer success initiatives.
PSS Systems was then acquired by IBM. From 2009 to 2011 (2 years) Mountain View, CASr. Technical Project Manager @ After the acquisition, CTP became the eServices arm of Novell. Within this area, we focused most of our work on Identity Management Solutions (IDM) utilizing Novell's IDM software.
I took the opportunity to learn project management methodologies and later became a Sr. Technical Project Manager, managing multiple customer engagements at a time. I won some leadership awards as part of the group. From 2005 to 2009 (4 years) San Francisco Bay AreaCRM Consultant @ CTP was a leading consulting firm solving business problems with technology solutions, and led the market with a pioneering fixed-time / fixed-price approach for projects.
My role was within the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) group, implementing leading CRM solutions for our customers. My work took me across the US and Europe.
CTP was then acquired by Novell. From 1999 to 2004 (5 years) San Francisco Bay AreaApplications Engineer and QA Lead @ Startup company based in San Diego, we created and led the market with a software tool allowing companies to use handhelds to collect data. Software worked with Apple's Newton and Microsoft's Windows CE devices.
As employee #3, I would do (and did) anything to keep us running. As the company grew, I primarily focused on customer engagements (training / implementation / support) and quality assurance. From 1995 to 1998 (3 years) Greater San Diego Area
