Emmett is President and a founding investor in the global wearable technology brand MYZONE INC – a hardware, cloud-ware are software mix that drives exercise adherence for the end user, and customer engagement metrics for the channel partner. As the President of MYZONE's global operations, Emmett relocated from Australia to the USA in 2011 to manage the company through the developmental phase of its commercial existence. After 2 years of beta with the product, and 2 years of establishing the right value proposition through a significant amount of market interface, Emmett then led the company to its 'go to market' phase in 2013/14, seeing the system installed in over 2000 health clubs in 17 different countries, a platform that is currently attracting tens of thousands of new users every month, changing behavior one exerciser at a time.
In 2015/16 Emmett is now focused on leading the global team at MYZONE through the growth phase of the lifecycle, one supported by a recently remodeled digital platform, a USP that provides true value to both the channel partners and the end user.

At MYZONE we solve the pervasive problem of ‘diminishing motivation within exercisers’ by leveraging the most relevant wearable technology for that market segment - we achieve our purpose by using feedback loops, gamification and social accountability tools – the benefit for the end user is exercise adherence, and the value of that benefit is goal attainment in regards to health and fitness. Our distribution model is to partner with a variety of enterprises who want that “end” for their population, be it customers, employees, members – our early wins in 2012/13/14 have been with the commercial fitness operator who interfaces with a large portion of our addressable market - that being the 144MM gym users worldwide, a market size which expands to over 200MM once churn is considered.
