Director of Exhibitions @ Administer exhibition programs, direct a committee of regional arts professionals, curate and install seven annual exhibits in the Arts Center Gallery and oversee off-site exhibition programs, manage artists, art-handling and sales. Cultivate gallery patrons, oversee program marketing and public relations. Supervise college interns and exhibition volunteers. Act as a liaison between Saratoga Arts and other cultural institutions in the region, guest curate, lecture, serve on panels, committees and lead professional development workshops. 2011-2015 Lead staff member under Executive Director to facilitate development activities, serving on the organization’s Strategic Planning and Development committees, assisting with strategy and management of sponsor and donor cultivation, annual fund, grant writing, special fundraising events, oversee direct mail campaigns, data management, acknowledgement, and recognition. From November 2009 to Present (6 years) 320 Broadway, Saratoga Springs, NYLecturer, Arts Administration | The Entrepreneurial Artist @ Introduce students to the basic principles needed to plan and launch an arts-related business. Students will merge practical business knowledge acquired with insight from local experts, to fuel their entrepreneurial spirit and develop a real-life business plan. Topics to be explored include business planning, legal requirements, budgeting, finance, marketing, branding and networking. From 2013 to Present (2 years) Exhibition Committee Member @ From 2010 to Present (5 years) Art Instructor @ Developed and taught art classes to school-aged students and adults, with a focus in painting and drawing. From 2007 to 2010 (3 years) Founder & Director @ Amrose Sable Gallery presented high-quality exhibits of emerging and established artists, becoming one of the area’s most insightful and invigorating cultural venues. Its mission was to provide artists the opportunity to have solo exhibitions of their artworks in a professional environment and offer the community access to unique cultural experiences through contemporary art. Over three years, Amrose Sable Gallery represented more than 30 regionally and nationally recognized contemporary artists and quickly became a social hub for the community, hosting art films, live music, lectures, and a wide range of special events and programs. Amrose Sable Gallery was a lead organization in the creation of First Friday in 2006, Albany’s monthly arts walk.
