After eight years at Jefferies, I decided to roll the dice and start a software company with two of my associates. For now, we're leveraging our domain expertise in finance and working towards building products for the financial services industry but we're also looking to expand to other industries.
Co-Founder & CEO @ We develop software for the financial services industry. Our first product, CorpAxe, aims to aggregate corporate access & analyst marketing events across the industry. From May 2015 to Present (4 months) Greater New York City AreaManaging Director @ 2007-2009
Worked as a Quant/Risk Developer on the Equity Options desk building tools for traders to manage their risk, hedge their positions, etc. I honestly don't remember what these days were like but I do remember them being quite enjoyable.
2009-Present
While on the options desk, I created a platform called TickR in my spare time, an information sharing portal modeled after social networks. Jefferies asked me to build this portal into the firm-wide CRM, Corporate Access Portal, Commission Reporting system, Research Portal and the Intranet just to name a few of the tools. Currently working on Investment Banking's CRM and Pipeline application, Vetting Database for Equity Research & Investment Banking, Agile Project Management tool for IT, Learning Management System (LMS) for HR & Compliance and an Analytics Suite for Equities/Fixed Income/Futures client management teams. I started off managing one developer to a team of 30+ developers, BAs, PMs and Support personnel.
