Ed Stinson's education is primarily in Science which he earned from Lansing Community College in 1991. After completing his education, he worked as a Quality Technician at Lansing Community College from 1993 to 1993. After that, he worked at Durand Area High School as a Science teacher from 1969 to 1971.When he was thirty-four years old, Ed Stinson applied to the ASQ to become a Certified Quality Technician. The ASQ accepted his application and certified him as a quality technician in September 1991. He has since worked as a quality technician at Lansing Community College, Durand Area High School, and now the ASQ. Aside from his education, Ed Stinson has also worked as a volunteer firefighter for the Durand Area Volunteer Fire Department from 2004 to present. He has also been a part of the ASQ'shanghai Branch since 2007.Ed Stinson is currently a full-time employee of the ASQ in Shanghai, China. There, he is responsible for the quality of the ASQ's products and services. Although he has worked in many different positions throughout his life, his education and work readiness have always been his primary focus.
