Ed Benjamin has a B.A. from the University of Kentucky in Education, Business, and Agriculture. Benjamin has also worked in the agricultural industry for many years. He begun his professional career in 1981 as an education teacher in a private school in Lexington, Kentucky. From there, Benjamin moved to the Topeka, Kansas school system, where he taught for five years before coming to Arrowhead High School in Topeka, Kansas in 1999. From there, he became the Director of Admissions and Head of Academic Affairs.After a year as the Director of Admissions, Ed Benjamin was promoted to Assistant Head of Academic Affairs. In this role, he was responsible for the enrollment, curriculum, and services at Arrowhead High School. In addition, Benjamin was also responsible for heading up the basketball and track programs at the school.While in this role, Benjamin also worked on a number of important school-wide initiatives.
