Duy-Ngan Le is currently working as a scientist at Data Analytics Department, Institute for Infocomm Research (I²R), Agency for Science, Technology and Research (A*STAR), Singapore. He has involved in several projects related to Data Analytics, Social Media analytics, semantic web, Web service, and Cloud Computing. He has experiences in working both with research and industry. Principal Investigator @ I have been involving in several research and industry projects and the follows are some typical projects: • “Data analytics on Social Media” We collect information from social media (Blog, Forum, Tweeter, and Foursquare) and analyze the data to predict particular events potentially happening in the future and recommend to have necessary actions. The technologies used include semantic web and machine learning for prediction • “Semantic Intelligent for Geography and Web” We analyse location information and data from the web to solve particular problems required by an industry partner. Technologies used in this project include ontology, text analytics, and intelligent matching algorithm • “Analyzing and supporting collaborative commerce marketplace” Analyzing industry competencies and skills and hence helping companies to increase business opportunities.
